Today I'd like to offer you wisdom on the energetic nuances of navigating the current tumultuous economic landscape of the world and how you can create peace and sustainability in your life, your enterprise and in your world.
It all started because… I heard an Economist being interviewed recently.
He spoke about the nature of money… how it is created when banks issue debt and destroyed when that debt is repaid.
He described money as nothing more than an entry in a ledger.
He spoke about artificial intelligence… predicting a severe economic contraction within the next 12 to 24 months. He warned that 90% of AI companies will fail. That up to 50% of working-class jobs could be wiped out by AI and robotics. That universal basic income will become necessary, because humans will no longer need to work.
He spoke about our economic system being far more fragile than we believe.
He spoke about the Seneca cliff… the possibility of falling from abundance into collapse.
And he spoke about fear.
Quietly. Relentlessly. Woven through every prediction.
I listened.

On the nature of money and the future of work:
“As an economist myself, I understand the need to grasp for answers that make economic sense like universal basic income.
However, any scenario of simply satisfying economic needs is going to miss the entire point of human existence.
And that is meaning, purpose and clarity.
Most people receive money as a byproduct of what they do, which gives meaning and purpose to their lives.
Also clarity is what allows wisdom to flow.
Anxiousness and cloudy judgement and fear filled life scenarios only lead to dissipating this much needed clarity.
Money has transcended the simple purpose of it being simply about survival.
Money is an energy that actually has been encoded with emotions such as triumph and success and also disappointment and failure.
Money is not the problem.
The challenge in a post AI economy, is in making sure that humans still have meaning and purpose in their lives.
